Trinity English School is a non-profit association founded by volunteer parents with the aim of offering anglophone children from maternelle to 5ème-level students an environment in which to develop culturally and linguistically with the help of experienced native English-speaking teachers and assistants.
All classes are held on Wednesdays from 9:15 am – 12:00 pm for elementary and maternelle children, and from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm for 6ème/5ème level children, during the French school term, at Holy Trinity Church in Maisons-Laffitte, starting two weeks after and ending two weeks before French school.
IMPORTANT: Trinity English School is intended for children who are and will continue to be solely educated in the French school system. It is therefore not permitted for your child to simultaneously attend Trinity English School and other similar English-speaking or bilingual groups (e.g. Ermitage, Lycée International, Busy Bees, etc.). If you have any questions, please contact us.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in our Reception Groups or our Reading Groups, please fill in the information in our First Enquiry form (link at the bottom of the page – one form per child please) and we will contact you shortly regarding available space. Please note that there is an obligatory English language assessment for all new primary-level students to ensure that they have a sufficient academic level of English for their group.
Admissions for Reception (PS/MS) can take place at the beginning of each quarter
For Groups 1 (GS) and up, closing of registrations is end of May, with an English language assessment intervies on the week after the end of term (June 28th, 2023). This is required to ensure the children have the required academic level to join their corresponding age group class, as well as bilingual support at home. This is invoiced 50€ and is non-refundable regardless of whether a place is offered or not as outcome to the assesment.
